Peter and a 40″ Pike – We had a nice day out on the ice with John Wainwright of the White Dog Trail Company. He had us on a good little HOT spot that made my son, Peter, really enjoy the adventure. Seeing your child’s smile as he pulled in a 40 inch pike was something that can never be forgotten! It barely fit through the hole in the ice! Fishing was great early on as the flags kept popping, which made it exciting for Peter. It quieted down as the day progressed, but he pulled in 1 Bass and 5 other Perch to go along with the Pike. When the action quieted down he had fun sliding all over the ice which was good to watch. It was a very good experience for all and we would recommend this for anyone whether you’re a beginner, experienced fisherman, or someone that is just looking for something different to try. It’s been a long time since I actually ice fished and seeing my sons happy smiles pulling in the fish will make it something I believe we’ll try again. Thanks for a great day!
